Boat building is a spectacularly fun hobby however there are lots of things in life which much more important than boatbuilding and fortunately they are usually equally or even more enjoyable. since by last post, i have finished installing the plywood on the hull and have applied the fibreglass mat.. The glen-l plans were excellent and am planning to build another glen-l design this winter. the engine is a fully restored 1949 mercury “super 5” i just finished. i also just finished a 1955 mercury mark 6 restoration that will soon be tested on this boat..
